2024 Kurt Keilhofer Memorial Ride

The 1st Annual Kurt Keilhofer Memorial Ride was a huge success. We would like to extend our greatest thanks and appreciation to the many volunteers and donors that made our first Memorial Ride benefit enjoyable and successful. We would also like to thank the organizations that hosted the stops along the ride and most of all we would like to thank the individuals and the organizations that attended the ride. The weather was very hot on June 22, 2024 but the riders came out in full force and enjoyed a beautiful ride through the back country of Huntingdon County.

Thoughts from the Kurt Keilhofer Foundation Board of Directors:

“At first I was worried about everything with the ride: was is going to be successful, was it the right time of year, was the weather too hot. So many questions went through my head that morning. By about 9:45am I was feeling deflated as there were only about 10 bikers that had arrived and kick stands were to go up at 11:00am. But then the tears came pouring when the bikers just came rolling down Railroad Street. They just kept coming and so did the tears. The support for the foundation and the honor showed for my Dad that day left me so overwhelmed that my speech at ride time couldn’t have been more jumbled. I cannot thank all of those who made the day amazing enough. My life has become about the safety of all first responders (well really anybody) and to see the amazing people who also care restored my faith in humanity. Thank you all from every part of my heart a soul.” Vice President Crystal Isenberg
